The worlds - first contactless car arrived at London Kings Cross today to launch the partnership between Hyundai Motor UK and the charity Stand Up To Cancer.
The campaign #DrivetheRebellion features a zero-emission Hyundai Ioniq Electric car kitted out with five contactless donation points. Members of the public are encouraged to donate £5 or £10 by tapping their card on the car. Visitors donating £10 will gain access inside the car for a photo, which then prints off in the boot and can be added to the exterior. Hyundai hopes to cover the whole car with people who have chosen to get involved in the campaign and Stand Up To Cancer. Every visitor to the contactless car is entered into a competition to win a new Ioniq Electric vehicle.
Hyundai Ambassador's, Nicola Adams OBE, and TV Presenter, Jake Humphrey were on hand today to encourage visitors to donate. The car will be appearing around the UK at events between May and November 2017.
