Unique from every angle
The all-new i20 features our new Sensuous Sportiness design language. The result is energetic proportions and a wedge style side profile, which is amplified through bold character lines and a unique C-pillar design. Eight exterior colour choices will be available at launch.
For the first time, a 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain is available in the standard 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine. The 48-volt system contributes to a 3-4% reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
With best-in-class connectivity and a range of high-tech convenience features, all-new i20 models will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly along with a new 10.25’’ digital cluster as standard. Selected models will feature an enhanced 10.25’’ centre touchscreen offering integrated navigation and Bluelink®.
New Hyundai SmartSense safety features include Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist which can detect not only cars but also pedestrians and cyclists.
Stay Safe with Hyundai SmartSense.
Hyundai SmartSense is our cutting-edge driver assistance system. Every feature has been added to maximise safety through active monitoring and reactive support when required. It’s built to provide you and your passengers with optimum safety for extra peace of mind.
Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
At speeds over 37 mph the system alerts the driver about unsafe movements. In case of an unintended lane departure, it will warn the driver and can apply counter steering to guide the car back to a safe position.
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
Automatically applies the partial or maximum braking force if a potential collision is detected.
Driver Attention Alert (DAA)
This standard feature raises safety and convenience to an entirely new level by continuously monitoring and analysing driving patterns. When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, DAA gets the driver's attention with an audible alert and pop-up message suggesting a break.
Emergency Stop Signal (ESS)
ESS helps warn surrounding traffic when emergency braking on the i20 is detected.
