Neil Kates, an automotive & lifestyle photographer, and Glen Mountford, a talented cinematographer, were tasked with showcasing the remarkable capabilities of the Hyundai SANTA FE in the stunning landscapes of North Wales. With an exciting challenge ahead, the team set out to capture the perfect combination of adventure and performance.
To bring this creative vision to life, Phil Lycett, Hyundai Sales Specialist and Sarj Rana, General Manager at Read Hyundai Derby, arranged the shoot and provided the team with a Hyundai SANTA FE for the weekend.
This collaboration enabled Neil, Glen and their team to capture the cinematic adventure of SANTA Fe’s performance & power immersed in the beautiful scenery of Wales.
From the moment Neil got behind the wheel of the SANTA FE, he was thoroughly impressed. The vehicle’s performance, comfort, and reliability made it the perfect companion for his photography adventure in North Wales. The SANTA FE was more than capable of handling the equipment for Neil, Glen, and two additional team members. It comfortably stored their expensive photography and videography gear, along with the luggage of all four individuals. Despite the heavy load, the spacious interior and smooth ride ensured a hassle-free journey from Derby to Wales, with no worries about equipment being damaged, allowing the team to focus on capturing stunning visuals.
Not only did it handle the rugged terrain effortlessly, but the SANTA FE also offered impressive fuel economy, allowing for longer drives without constant refuelling stops. The comfortable seats made those long journeys a pleasure, and the vehicle’s modern tech kept Neil connected, with features like phone charging on the go. As Neil explored the region, the SANTA FE seamlessly blended into the stunning environment, with locals admiring its sleek design. Its off-road capabilities allowed Neil to fully immerse in the adventure while capturing the breathtaking backdrops of North Wales.
