There’s a significant clue to the appeal of the new Hyundai iLoad in the name. It can transport up to six people including the driver, or provide a load length of 2.5 metres with generous volume and weight limits.
Choose the vehicle as a Crew Van or Panel Van to meet your needs. Every version features twin glazed rear doors that open to a 180-degree angle, black door handles and mirror caps, headlights with levelling and half-wheel caps. The flat panel sides of the iLoad also mean it’s easy to customise the van with your company’s colours and branding.
Twin sliding doors give you simple, wide access to the load space, which reaches as much as 4.3 cubic metres in the Panel Van. Some of the room in the spacious Crew Van will go towards increasing the number of seats to six. Both can handle load weights of more than a tonne, and the front middle seat can transform into a mini mobile desk with a tray and cup holder.
Your cargo will be secured in the back by load lashing eyes, and your safety is assured with a driver’s airbag, fixed pre-tensioned seatbelts and adjustable head restraints. The iLoad also comes with a full steel bulkhead that helps to separate the crew and cargo areas. ESP can be added to the equipment list as an upgrade to supplement the power-assisted steering.
A 2.5-litre diesel engine will keep you and your business on the road through deliveries, meetings and the rest of your working day. It produces 114bhp and is matched to a smooth six-speed manual gearbox. The iLoad offers 343Nm of torque to pull a full interior and up to 2.3 tonnes of braked weight, and the maximum payload can be completely supported by either the front or rear axle. The high performance of the iLoad also extends to the level of fuel economy it can deliver – as much as 37.2mpg combined.
