Introducing the Hyundai i30 N - the first in a new line of high performance road cars to launch under the Hyundai N sub-brand. The i30 N is born on the track and engineered for driving fun.
"The i30 N as it stands is a pretty stunning first effort from Hyundai's N division."
"If you're looking for a hot hatch in the next few months the Hyundai has to figure on your shortlist."
"Drive it and you'll be surprised how playful it is, how speed and suspension are so well matched, how it goes about its business with genuine enthusiasm."
The blistering performance of the i30 N is powered by a highly responsive 2.0 T-GDI turbocharged engine available with 250 PS standard or 275 PS in the N Performance.
The i30 N sports unique high-performance design elements paired with the sleek, timeless design of the i30 range.
Enter the i30 N and feel its motor sport roots instantly. The uniquely designed high-performance N sport seats keep you comfortable and in control, thanks to power lumbar support and extendable seat cushions. Featuring the N logo and stylish blue contrast stitching, they’re available in a suede and leather combination or full cloth. The sporty character of the interior is further enhanced by the high-quality materials and dark metal inserts that can be found throughout.
Keyless entry with engine start / stop button
Engine start / stop button eliminates the need to insert the key into the ignition. As long as you have the key with you, the i30 N can be started and turned off with a simple push of the button.
Front and rear parking assist
A combination of parking sensors in the front and rear bumpers, and a rear parking camera help you to avoid obstacles when manoeuvring at low speeds.
2.0 T-GDi (250PS) petrol engine
The newly developed four-cylinder 2.0 T-GDi engine is highly responsive with a rich torque curve supported by an over boost function that temporarily increases torque by 8%. i30 N features front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission.
2.0 T-GDi (275PS) petrol engine
N Performance models use the same 2.0 T-GDi petrol engine as i30 N (250) models but benefits from an additional 25 PS; boosting total power output to 275 PS. The torque figure remains at 353 Nm but is spread over a wider rev range to suit the demands of more track focussed driving.
Launch control helps to accelerate i30 N in the quickest time from a standstill. By regulating the amount of available torque sent to the front wheels, wheel spin is minimised.
Hit the steering wheel button to enjoy fast, smooth downshifts. Rev-matching automatically blips the throttle on downshifts to synchronize the rotational speeds of the engine and transmission, optimising braking performance.
Stay Safe with Hyundai SmartSense.
With Hyundai SmartSense, our cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, the i30 N comes with the latest active safety technology. It’s built to provide you and your passengers with optimum safety for extra peace of mind.
Emergency Stop Signal (ESS)
ESS helps warn surrounding traffic when emergency braking on the i30 N is detected.
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
Operating in three stages using camera sensors, it warns the driver visually and audibly. In a second step, it controls the brakes according to the collision danger stage, and in a third stage applies maximum braking force to avoid a collision or minimise damage if a collision is unavoidable.
Driver Attention Alert (DAA)
This standard feature raises safety and convenience to an entirely new level by continuously monitoring and analysing driving patterns. When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, DAA gets the driver’s attention with an audible alert and pop-up message suggesting a break.
