How do I order my new Suzuki?

Your Motability Specialist will guide you through the process to establish which model is most suited to your needs and discuss any adaptations that may be required. You will need to bring the following documents with you

  1. Your driving licence if you wish to drive
  2. Certificate of entitlement from either DWP or Veterans UK
  3. Proof of address (e.g. recent utility bill)
  4. Named drivers’ driving licence and consent. Named drivers must give consent, either in person by going with you when you place your order or by filling out a Driver Consent Form

Approximately two weeks after placing an order, you will be sent a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with a letter of acceptance which confirms your acceptance of the Contract Hire Agreement terms and conditions. Please remember to keep this safe as you need it to collect your vehicle.

What happens when I collect my new Suzuki?

The time it takes for your new Suzuki to arrive can vary depending on the model you have ordered. Your Motability Specialist will advise of the expected/estimated delivery times and will remain in contact until the collection date. Your Motability Specialist will also be in contact to advise of any delays to your new vehicle being delivered to the dealership. When your car is ready, you or your appointee must be at the dealership to sign for the new car. A home delivery will be arranged for customers ordering a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle.

Do I have to bring the car in for a service and/or MOT myself?

We do offer a collection and delivery service, subject to availability, within a certain mile radius of the dealership.

Do I own the car at the end of the agreement?

Ownership of the vehicle remains with Motability Operations. At the end of your agreement you can either lease another car through the Motability Scheme, keep your current car longer by extending your lease or return your car and have your allowance reinstated.

What happens at the end of the agreement?

You can order your next car three months before the end of your agreement. Motability will send you a copy of ‘A guide to leasing your next car’ to help you through the final stages of your agreement.

Your Motability Specialist will also be in contact regarding your renewal. Where necessary, your Motability Specialist may be able to arrange a short term extension to your current lease.
