CHARGING AT HOME
Charging your Jeep at home is simple and flexible. You can plug into a standard 2.3kW socket* or choose to install a faster 7.4kW home charger with help from our partners at Octopus Energy. The choice is yours.
CHARGING MADE SIMPLE
You can charge your Jeep using either AC (like the power at home) or DC (used at rapid charging stations). Even though the battery runs on DC, your vehicle has a built-in charger that converts AC into DC automatically.
To keep your battery healthy, smart systems inside the car manage its temperature in all weather – even during fast charging – so you always get the best possible charge speed.
CHARGING ON THE GO
When you're out and about, charging is easy. Most city charging points use 22kW AC and work with the cable that comes with your Jeep.
For faster top-ups, motorway Rapid Chargers offer 50–100kW DC and have their own built-in cable that’s fully compatible with your Jeep. So while your Avenger charges up, you can take a break — then hit the road again, worry-free.
As well as benefiting from the same warranty as Jeep® petrol, there’s an 8 years/100,000 mile battery warranty for complete peace of mind. It’s fully transferable and guarantees that at least 70 per cent of the charging capacity is maintained for the warranty period. The battery is maintenance-free and is protected within a strong, sealed steel case to prevent damage from water, road debris or an accident.
Your electric vehicle is simpler to maintain and more cost-effective than petrol or diesel cars, thanks to fewer moving parts and no oil changes.
