Summary
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our team in Worksop. You’ll take ownership of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, stock reporting, and departmental performance analysis across sales, service, and parts.
Responsibilities
- Monthly accounts — prepare P&L, balance sheet, accruals, prepayments
- Vehicle stock control — new/used stock, ageing, margin checks
- KPI reporting — sales performance, labour efficiency, parts profitability
- Forecasting & budgeting — support senior leadership with data‑driven insights
- Compliance — VAT, manufacturer audits, internal controls
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Strong motor trade experience (desirable but not essential)
- Confident with DMS systems (Pinnacle/Kerridge/CDK)
- Analytical, proactive, and comfortable challenging performance
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.

We offer a great salary. Hours of work are between 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with an hour unpaid lunch break.

Pay: £28,151.60-£40,000.00 per year
