At Read Motor Group, every member of the team plays a essential role in shaping the customers experience and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our established Aftersales department in Kings Lynn.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Upselling any VHC work reported and Service Plans
- Calling parts customers and booking in any customers.
- Ensuring customers are kept up to date.
- Explain and educate customers on the follow up process to encourage response levels.
- Preparation of next days jobs ensuring all parts in stock and pre-picked/recalls checked/service plan quotes etc.
- Invoicing/ sales /warranty.
- Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly and cash handling procedure followed.
- Checking all courtesy vehicles are on site are clean, fuelled and easily accessible ready for the next day.
- General housekeeping
- Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice
- Creating and loading bookings onto electronic diary efficiently and monitoring this function
- Filing of Paperwork
Our ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, meet deadlines and be self-motivated with a positive can do attitude.

Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
