Charging the battery of the Jeep Renegade 4xe Plug-In Hybrid is easy and intuitive thanks to a range of charging solutions.

The Selec-Terrain® traction management control is designed to optimize the four-wheel-drive system. Adjusting according to surface conditions (Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand and Mud), it offers unsurpassed capability on any terrain. The Trailhawk trim level also includes ‘Rock’ mode​

Get into a tight spot. Audio and visual signals alert the driver when obstacles are close, allowing the driver to adjust parking procedure. Rear Cross Path Detection warns when traffic is passing, activated when shifted into reverse gear.​

With tinted privacy glass available on the Trailhawk trim level, you can fully immerse yourself inside your Renegade 4xe whilst maintaining a refined and exclusive look and feel on the outside.​

The available ParkView™ Rear Back-Up Camera is displayed on the navigation screen when the transmission is shifted into reverse. The wide-angle view of the area behind the vehicle, complete with grid lines allows drivers to ease into parking spaces or narrow areas.

Take advantage of all of the power from the combined engines with the Hybrid mode which automatically manages the power flow between the two engines.

Drive without generating any on the road C02 emissions for up to 26 miles* using the full-electric mode.

E-save mode allows you to preserve the charge in the battery by using only the combustion engine.

4x4 On Demand

The 4xe technology on-board offers all of the benefits of a hybrid vehicle, combined with the all-terrain safety of a traditional 4x4. Legendary Jeep off-road capability is guaranteed by the Jeep Active Drive Low system, standard on all Renegade 4xe vehicles. The Selec-Terrain® traction control system has 5 options and includes the new Sport mode which delivers a sharper throttle response and full power and torque delivery.

Charging Made Easy

The new Jeep® 4xe Plug-In Hybrid comes with charging cables that allow you to charge the 11.4 kWh battery using a simple domestic outlet. Reach a full charge even faster with the new Easy Wallbox, the intelligent outlet that you can easily install at home, which intelligently adapts its charging capacity to optimise power. You can even charge while on the move, not just at public charging points, but via regenerative braking: a process that enables kinetic energy to be recovered during deceleration and braking, and stored in the battery pack.

Driver Assistance

The new Jeep® Renegade 4xe Plug-In Hybrid features over 60 active and passive safety systems, designed to intelligently fine-tune your driving experience. These include Forward Collision Warning Plus, which detects via radar and video sensors whether the vehicle is approaching another car or obstacle too rapidly, and warns the driver accordingly. Automatic Park Assist makes parking easy and hassle-free via the PARKSENSE system, which not only locates a parking space, but guides the driver with audio and visual instructions that appear on the TFT instrument cluster; meanwhile, Drowsy Driver Detection – a feature exclusively available to the Renegade Plug-in Hybrid – detects the level of driver fatigue, and sends a dedicated text to the driver suggesting when a rest might be needed. Other safety features available include Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection, Rear Camera with dynamic grid, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

The 7” TFT Instrument Cluster enables you to monitor all the driving parameters of your vehicle, including charge level, battery health and power available, with a customisable interface to give you the information you want.
