The Suzuki Ignis saw off many of its rivals from around the world to become a 2017 World Car finalist. The Ignis was runner up in the World Urban Car category only narrowly missing out on the top spot.

The Ignis launched in the Japanese market, it arrived in Europe last Autumn, and went on sale in January 2017. Since its launch in the UK more than 3,200 units have been sold.

Ignis is a sporty mini crossover, standing at just over a metre high and less than four metres in length the compact car makes it ideal for everyday urban driving.

Although compact,the Ignis boasts a spacious interior which is packed with useful features including a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, DAB radio as standard and sat-nav on mid-spec trims and above.

It also features Bluetooth connectivity and USB and AUX ports.

The Suzuki Baleno made it into the top five but narrowly missed out on a top three position.
