Group Aftersales Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Aftersales Manager to run an efficient Aftersales operation ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, motivating and training all Aftersales staff to perform, develop and improve processes and systems as well as driving the business forward. As the Group Aftersales Manager your overall objective will be to increase turnover and profit to exceed set budgets.

Key Responsibilities Include;

  • Creation of daily/weekly/monthly annual reports such as; DOC, warranty, work in progress, operating controls, end of session, diversion analysis, debtors and month end accounts
  • Establish opportunities for optimising the provision of related services
  • Effective management of staff (recruitment, performance appraisal, management, development and overall co-ordination of teams utilising the Aftersales Resource Matrix)
  • Working with Aftersales Managers, Aftersales Advisors, Technicians and Workshop Controllers to ensure up-sell of products and services, provision of exceptional customer service, quality of work, efficiency and utilisation of Technicians, accuracy of data capture and invoicing
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of the company and manufacturer
  • Carry out audits and assist with manufacturer audits
  • Creating marketing plans to take the business forward (i.e. derived from Parc, part spend, customer information)
  • Ensure prospecting and outbound contact with customers is carried out to drive business
  • Resolve customer concerns which are raised by management and staff


  • Significant demonstrable experience in a similar position
  • Multi-franchise experience
  • Ability to "roll sleeves up" operationally
  • Demonstrate skills/processes
  • Experience of developing relationships with the manufacturer, customers and colleagues
